How do I fix my leaking garden hose?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @juyy7. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about fixing a leaking hose.
To help you out with fixing your leaking garden hose, could you please provide a bit more detail about where the leak is happening? It would also be really helpful if you could upload some images to show us exactly where the hose is leaking from. If you need a hand with uploading images, just let me know.
In the meantime, the most common spot for a leak is at the fittings, so it might be worth taking the fitting to your nearest store. Our team can assist you in finding a replacement that matches. One of these kits supplies all the necessary parts to attach a hose to a tap and a nozzle.
Alternatively, if there is a split in the hose or a hole, the damaged area can be cut out, and the two ends can be connected again with one of these joiners.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I have a screw in adapter on my tap that does not leak normally but when I attach the hose the adapter itself starts leaking, should I duct tape around the adapter?
Hello @juyy7
I propose looking carefully at your garden hose adapter, are there any cracks on the body, has the rubber seal given way and are the screwing thread still intact? If the hose adapter still looks to be in good condition all I can suggest is to use plumber's tape on any threaded connection, you install the garden hose adapter to. If it continues leaking it might be time to replace the garden hose adapter.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
