How to fix flat soaker hose leakage?
I don’t have sprinklers installed and it’s quite expensive to get them installed. Currently I am using soaker hoses to water my lawn and it’s going great. I move them when I need to mow and then lay it flat again on the ground.
Now recently I saw a leak in it. Is it possible some how to fix it rather buying a new one everytime.
Soaker Hose is similar to this one:

Re: How to fix flat soaker hose leakage?
Hi @pc007,
You could try cutting the split section out and then using a 13mm polypipe barb to rejoin it. You'll also need a couple of 13mm clips.
It would be best to verify the exact soaker hose you have with a team member in-store and to check whether using the barbed joiner to repair it would be suitable.
Also, remember that the Pope soaker hose has a two year warranty, so if they are failing within that time frame we'll happily swap them over for you.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Re: How to fix flat soaker hose leakage?
It worked but soaker hose broke from another point. I think it’s all day in sun that’s why. I need to find a way to install sprinklers or some other way to water my lawn. No point in keep repairing soaker hoses.

Re: How to fix flat soaker hose leakage?
Hi @pc007,
Would something simple like a Nylex Oscillating Sprinkler Barrel work for you?
I have this exact sprinkler in my yard, and it works well for me. I plug it into my hose, turn it on for a while and move it around when I need to.
Let me know what you think.

Re: How to fix flat soaker hose leakage?
Thank you. Yes, I have one of these and it works great for larger areas. But, I do have a narrow long path of about 10 m long and 1.2m wide.
Soaker hose was best option for the area. Let me know if you can recommend something else as well.

Re: How to fix flat soaker hose leakage?
Hi @pc007,
Do you have a photo of the path you can share? Are there garden beds? Is the path concreted or is there dirt that you could dig into?
It sounds like a simple irrigation line wouldn't be too difficult to put in. I'd be happy to help you design something if this is an option that you'd like to look into.

Let me know what you think.

Re: How to fix flat soaker hose leakage?
Thank you JacobZ.
Photos and paper design where grass is attached. It's all grass but I have heard for irrigation I need to dig 10-12 cm. I don't have digging experience plus ground is very hard to dig.
Along with plan if you can provide some ideas as how to dig and setup easily, that will be great. Or if there is a solution without digging, that will be the best.

Re: How to fix flat soaker hose leakage?
Hi @pc007,
Ideally, you'd use pop-up sprinklers where the irrigation pipe is buried so you don't have to worry about moving things around while mowing. Check out How To Install Pop-Up Sprinklers for an example of a simple set-up.
The depth of your channel will be determined by the height of your pop-up sprinkler. For example, if you use these Holman 50mm Adjustable Pop Up Sprinklers your channel will need to be about 70mm deep to account for the sprinkler and the pipe
A mattock is the best tool for digging channels for irrigation pipes.
Is it possible to get some rough dimensions and the location of the tap on your drawing? I understand the path is roughly 10x1.2m but I'll need the rest to help design something.
Ultimately, there is a bit of work to setting up a pop-up sprinkler system, but in the long run, it will make watering your lawn a breeze.
Once I have those measurements, I'll be happy to assist further.

Re: How to fix flat soaker hose leakage?
Hi @pc007,
You've got quite a complex area to cover there with pop-up sprinklers. I'd recommend you spend some time using the myGarden planner which will show you where the pop-up placement needs to go. Given the complexity, the number of popups required to cover the area entirely and the amount of pipework that needs to be installed, I'd recommend a professional installation.
I've had a go at putting a plan together, which I'll attach below.
