How to fix Nylex retractable garden hose leaking inside?

Hi, our Nylex retractable garden hose is leaking inside. We have tried to open it up to see if the hose is pinched but we can’t find how to open it up enough to get to the inner most part of the hose.

Nylex advises not to open the hose reel and to attempt to repair a leaking hose as the internal parts are spring-loaded and under tension, so it's dangerous to remove them. Instead, they recommend contacting their customer service team for further instructions on Ph: 1800 335 019.
