Re: How to fill a gap under fence for a garden bed

Hello @devon11223344

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about filling the gap under your fence.

I suggest digging under the gap and fitting in a 200 x 50mm Sleeper H4 Sienna MicroPro 2.4m. Once the gap is filled, I then suggest covering the section back with sand so that it is nice and level. In regards to the garden bed, I recommend using the same type of timber to build your garden bed. If it is just a single level bed, I suggest using Zenith 10G x 100mm Countersunk Rib Head External Timber Screws to hold the timber bed together.

However, if you wish to make it taller, I suggest looking at this guide - How to build a raised garden bed by @Adam_W

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Thanks for your reply.

However, may I know how to fix the 200 x 50mm Sleeper H4 Sienna MicroPro 2.4m under the fence ? just put it in the ground or screw into the fence ?

Thanks

Hello @devon11223344

You can screw it in place using Zenith 10G x 50mm Galvanised Countersunk Head Metal Screw. Just remember to cover the screw head with silicone to protect it from the weather.

If you need further assistance, please let me know.
