Re: weeds
Hello @suni
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about weeds.
Due to its proximity to your other plants I'm a bit hesitant to suggest using weed killers as this will adversely affect the other plants in the area as well. In this particular instance, you'll need to persevere and keep pulling the weeds out manually. My best advice is to make sure to get to the roots as deep as possible so that it will not get established.
Let me call on our experienced members @Noelle and @mich1972 for their recommendations.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Re: weeds
Hi @suni
Hoeing between the rows every couple of weeks to either cut the weeds off or turn the soil over will work wonders, especially at this time of the year when mulching is not quite so important for moisture retention.
You can use weedkiller between the rows of vegies. Most common garden weedkillers are absorbed through the leaves of weeds only. So long as you are careul not to get any weedkiller spray on the leaves of your vegies, they will not be affected and will continue to grow happily. You can use a sheet of cardboard as a shield between the weeds and the crops while you spray, for added protection.

Re: How to combat weeds in vegetable garden?
Good afternoon @suni I agree with Eric and Noelle. Please don't use weed killers amongst your Veggies and Fruits. Honestly , it's best to pull out by hand. Yes you can also smother them with thick mulch or layers of cardboard Good luck with that. It's better to act as soon as you see them pop up so it doesn't get overwhelming when it's over run with weeds. Suni , can I ask you please what you have growing in your veggie garden at the moment ?
