To replace destroyed arch.
Width to span 1m path, plus a bit each side (total 1.4m?).
Height 2.4m if flat top, or 2.4m to peak if arched. Old arch had to 2 posts about 1.2H with routed channel to hold lattice panels.
Lattice panels, starting 350m from bottom, then 700m high.
Then moving upwards, 2 more cross panels spaced about 250mm apart .

Hello @aussiejack1
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about building a timber garden arch.
Are you thinking about recreating the same arch you formerly had? If you are, would it be possible for you to post a photo of the old arch. You also mentioned a possible choice between a flat top and an arched build. The flat top would definitely be easier to build, the store does not carry pre-bent timber for archways.
Please give me some time to draw up a sample archway and I'll post it here as soon as I'm finished. Please note that the store also carries rose arch kits such as the Brunnings 2175 x 1150 x 440mm Classic Timber Arch.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
