How to attach metal reo mesh to a Colorbond fence?

What is the best way to attach https://www.bunnings.com.au/jack-1800-x-1000-x-200-x-7mm-reinforcing-mesh-sheet_p1060409 to a colourbond fence? It is for growing Jasmine so will need to hold weight. Thanks.

Re: How to attach metal reo mesh to a Colorbond fence?

Hello @shaneboladeras

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about attaching reo mesh to a Colorbond fence.

I suggest having a quick look at this discussion - Attaching screens to Colorbond fence by @eemrun. The general technique is to attach two horizontal pieces of timber and attaching them to the post of the Colorbond fence. You can then attach the reo mesh onto the two pieces of timber. You can either use hooks or use RapidFence Roll Top Wire Mesh Fence U Clips And Teck Screws - 20 Pack to attach the mesh.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Hi @shaneboladeras,

Let me also extend a very warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community.

One of our all time most popular projects here on Workshop is Training climbers to screen a fence by @royq. Would you consider using cable rather than reo?
