1. Crazy paving for pool cabana by @ProjectPete 

 

Prolific contributor Pete turned an unused corner in the backyard into a beautiful and relaxing space with a polished-concrete bench seat, feature wall and crazy pavers.

2. D.I.Y. paved firepit area with built-in seating by @Codey 

 

Built on a sloping block, this paved circular firepit area features built-in rendered concrete bench seating.

3. Fire pit entertaining area by @lcooksey88 

 

Workshop member Lauren converted a kids play area into a space for gathering around a fire pit (which doubles as a table) and defined the area with Merbau screening, Un-Real hedge panels and pavers.

4. Crazy paving front porch by @EleventhCoastal

5. Patio makeover with new paving by @Minu 

 

New pavers on a sand base were an affordable and simple way to spruce up a small patio.

6. Tuscan-inspired backyard renovation by @jaderein 

 

A rose arbour with solar-powered lights, a fire-pit area with Merbau bench seats plus paving and landscape stones transformed a previously barren backyard.

8. Alfresco makeover with crazy paving by @jesseydiamond 

 

Workshop member Jessey saved time and money by installing crazy paving straight over the existing concrete so they didn't have to do any demolition in this alfresco renovation.

9. Side yard and barbecue area by @diy_hausdesigns 

 

Experienced community member Rufaro spent a lot of time preparing the ground for pavers and installing edging to create a terrific finish for this side yard and barbecue area.

Built by a teenager in a week, this inspiring creation could be replicated in many backyards to create a fantastic outdoor entertaining area.

A raised garden bed built with treated hardwood and Retain It posts, and coated with decking oil, with drainage and paving installed.

Reclaimed pavers and a simple cabana made a perfect spot for relaxing in shade by the pool.
