Re: How much potting mix needed to fill.... see below

Here's the equation to work out cubic metres required to fill this and any other similar product w×d×h in metres. w= width, d=depth and h= height. So 0.61×0.51×0.24= 0.074664 or...0.07 cubic metres. Bags of potting mix comes in 25kg bags. 25 litres of potting mix converts to .025 cubic metres. 3 bags of 25 litre potting mix should do the trick. Here's a list of options https://www.bunnings.com.au/search/products?page=1&q=25+litres+Potting+mix&sort=BoostOrder

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @zoe63. We're pleased to have you join us.

You might like to check out the step-by-step guide How to fill a raised garden bed by experienced contributor @Noelle. In step 4, Noelle explains how to determine the number of bags of potting mix needed by calculating the volume required. For example, a bed measuring 1.5m wide x 2m long x 0.3m depth of potting mix will need 0.9 cubic metres, which is 900 litres (1000 litres is 1 cubic metre).
