Reliability of a hose reel comes down to how often you will use it. I have a great deal of experience with our hose reels as we used them within our nursery. Our hose reels are for domestic use, and I don't believe they were ever intended to be used as frequently as we did. For a reliable unit, I would recommend the Pope auto wind hose reels. They always performed admirably under our commercial conditions, lasting for many more years than I would expect.
If you only need it for one or two waterings a week, then you'll find our budget-friendly options are more than suitable for the task as well.
