Re: How can we better nourish these plants/trees?

Hi @mukeshkaura1

It looks like your pittosporums might have been cut back quite heavily on one side, exposing the trunk. Perhaps this might have just been natural dieback. To help them recover and grow healthier, it’s important not to prune that side further, as this could stress the plant and prevent new growth from developing. Instead, focus on fertilising adequately to encourage strong, healthy growth.

Using a balanced fertiliser that’s designed to promote healthy root development and foliage growth will really help your pittosporums bounce back. I recommend using Yates Thrive Natural Roses & Flowers Fertiliser. It's an organic option that provides essential nutrients and encourages robust growth, which will be especially beneficial for your plants. While pittosporums aren’t specifically "roses" or "flowers," they do benefit from similar nutrient requirements, particularly for strong root development and lush foliage. This fertiliser is rich in essential nutrients like nitrogen for leafy growth, phosphorus for strong roots, and potassium for overall plant health. You can also trim the tops of the pittosporums, as this will encourage new buds to form lower down, helping to fill in the gaps and create a fuller plant.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
