I like putting Bromeliads in wooden barrows. To save making the whole barrow. Half a barrow was made.
The result, with some friends having a ride.
Without the little wooden planters having a ride.
Some of the dimensions.
The sections that extend up at the front, are for a tying point.
I used some reclaimed timber, I found a Bunnings handheld rotary planner very handy for removing old paint.
The pallet wood determined the width of tray.
Before painting.
I’ll write in the colour details soon.
( The colour is Picture Book Green, Dulux , says on the container, base, Dulux bold yellow.

Hello @Jamespeter100
Thank you so much for sharing a diagram and pictures of your half wheelbarrow. It is indeed a very versatile plant stand as you've clearly demonstrated with the addition of friendly passengers. Would it be possible for you to give a brief description of how the wheel was assembled? Any extra information you can share with our members would be much appreciated.
Again, thank you for sharing such a wonderful project. We look forward to seeing your next creation.
Eric
Hi Eric
good point.
I’ll do up an instruction set for a wheel under the heading of making a wooden wheel for a wooden barrow”. For now, some instructions nested under a milk cart. https://www.workshop.bunnings.com.au/t5/Featured-Projects/Milk-cart-planter/ta-p/94107
