How to insulate old existing shed?

I'm trying to insulate a very old shed - timber framed, and a mix of corrugated metal and timber cladding (three timber walls, roof and fourth wall metal)

Foilboard looks like the way to go, which I was going to attach to the studs, creating an air gap between the board and the outside wall. I may or may not line the shed with ply or plasterboard later.

Do I go shiny side outside (which send logical to reject the heat outwards) or inside (which I've seen recommended, but seems counter intuitive) ?

Have I got the air gap in the right place?

a) Outside wall - air gap - foilboard - ply

Or

b) outside wall - foilboard - air gap - ply

Or

c) outside wall - air - foilboard - air - ply

It

I'm in SE Queensland so keeping the heat out, not in...

Cheers
