The Bunnings Workshop community can help with your home improvement projects.
Most Bunnings stores will happily provide you with free pallets whenever they are available. Just speak to one of the helpful team members in the Timber Yard at your local store and they will be able to point you in the right direction.
To avoid disappointment, we always recommend to give the store a call before visiting to ensure they have supply.
Pallets come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Clever and creative Bunnings Workshop members have used recycled pallet timber in a wide variety of different projects. For ideas and inspiration, check out our Top 10 most popular pallet projects.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Newuser1234. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about finding pallets.
Many of our stores are now participating in a recycling program for our single-use pallets. These pallets are collected and sent off to be converted into garden mulch, which could be the reason you're having trouble finding free pallets at your local store. We do typically allow customers to take pallets until they are picked up for recycling.
I’m not aware of any pallets that we sell, but we do have multi-use hardwood pallets on site. These are not for sale or for free, as we use them for day-to-day operations. It may be worth visiting a few other stores in your area, but I’d recommend calling ahead to avoid any disappointment.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
