Learning to use a Hammer drill
Hi, Good day
I just purchased this Hammer drill from Bunnings
https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pxc-18v-hammer-drill-kit_p0136015
and trying to learn to use it
To drill into bricks for 7mm holes, any suggestions on the appropriate torque settings to be used? I know i need to use the the Hi speed gear for hammer mode. But how do you decide on the torque
I am hoping others in the community who have used this can advise.
thanks

Re: Learning to use a Hammer drill
torque settings help you to drive screws to the correct depth - reducing power so you don't drive the screw right through the work. For drilling, you just want maximum torque (power). Not sure if the hammer drill setting overrides the torque setting or not - regardless just set it to maximum and away you go. Ensure you are using a masonry bit.
