Ideas wanted for outdoor wood storage

I was hoping for some ideas to have a permanent outdoor space to store wood and keep it dry. I was thinking maybe using weatherboards to match the house material and reuse some of the leftover paint left from the builders. 

i was wondering if there is a guide you recommend for this. I’m needing about 2 cubic metres of storage.

@rayando63 we ended up building a full shed to store the wood but also to decliner the garage

I come across this post looking for ideas on to store some outdoor fire wood. Instead of blocks for the base, what timber posts would you recommend?

Thanks for sharing your question about the outdoor wood storage. An alternative to the blocks would be to use 100 x 100mm 2.4m Fence Post Hardwood CCA. This post is treated up to H4 and is suitable to be used in direct contact with soil. My best advice is to coat the footing in Gripset Betta 4L Bitumen Rubber Waterproofing Membrane to add an extra layer of protection to the post.
