Re: RVC-1420C-G gasket
Hi Martin (@mv),
I'm in contact with Ryobi to see if we can source this gasket as a spare part. I'll update you when we have an answer.
Many thanks for your patience.

Hi @mv,
Could you please take a look at the exploded diagram below and see if the missing part is on there? Also, if you can add some images of where this seal might sit, that would be helpful. Let me know if you need a hand uploading pictures.

Re: How to order parts for Ryobi RVC-1420C-G wet-dry vacuum?
Thanks a lot for chasing this Mitchell, really appreciate it.
Now I am confused, because I assumed I lost gasket between the 24 and 8.
When the top part is clipped onto the "bucket" it rattles, that means its not sealed and that means that the suction is not effective enough.
can they confirm there is no seal/gasket between 24 and 8?
are all the parts in the exploded diagram able to be ordered from Bunnings?
Thanks again for chasing this

Re: How to order parts for Ryobi RVC-1420C-G wet-dry vacuum?
Hi @mv,
You are correct that there would be a seal between the bucket and the header unit. Unfortunately, I've been able to confirm with Ryobi that spare parts are no longer available for this item as it was last sold in 2018. They do typically keep parts available after the unit is last sold, but have now phased them out. The gasket was not sold separately, but as part of the lower header unit. In order to replace it, the motor assembly would have needed to be disassembled to install.
You might like to consider either the Ryobi 20L Stainless Steel Wet And Dry Workshop Vacuum RVC-1220I-G or Ozito 1250W 20L Wet And Dry Vacuum as a replacement. If the rest of the unit is in working order, perhaps you could create your own gasket out of flyscreen spline. If there is a rebated slot to fit into, you could glue the spline in place.
