Hi @Tanya4,

Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

You're going to need a tek screw that is long enough to go through your MDF and penetrate through the steel by about 10-15mm.

You can then use liquid nails as your adhesive.
