How to add insulation to steel stud frame shed ceiling?
Hi,
Was looking to put insulation in this shed ceiling before gyprock, can I use poly strapping to hold the insulation in place, if so how would I affix to the steel frame? And should I be affixing to studs or battens ?
Thanks for any advice

Re: Insulation for ceiling - Steel stud frame shed - strapping ?
Hi @Taco,
Thank you for your question about installing insulation in your steel-framed shed.
It should be installed on the battens, so the insulation is in direct contact with the back of the plasterboard sheeting.
You can use Zenith 8G x 20mm Galvanised Button Head Metal Screws to fix the strapping in place. These screws are very low profile and do not cause any bulging in the plasterboard.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
