The Bunnings Workshop community can help with your home improvement projects.
I am working with high school leavers that are seeking to enter into the construction industry.
They would benefit from activities that can identify tool names and prices.
This would help them budget for tools needed to kick-start their careers.
Does Bunnings have any resources for trainers to use?
Hello @witty01
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about activities for school leavers.
One of the best starts I can recommend is to join PowerPass Apprentice. They get numerous benefits and access to PowerPass offers on a wide range of trade products. Joining is absolutely free and the best part is that it will enable them to track all their purchases at the store for any particular project. Let me make some inquiries regarding resources trainers can use for school leavers. As soon as I have more information I'll let you know.
Here are some discussions that might come in handy:

Hello @witty01
I've spoken to our trade specialist and the activity organizer, I'm sorry but there are no set programs in place for school leavers. However, there is a great deal of information available both online and at the store. I propose making a list of tools for the students that will cover them for basic trade work. Once they have their list they can speak to the tool specialist about the features and benefits of each tool.
I also suggest getting the students to visit and sign up with the Workshop community. They can then ask questions about tools and projects they are working on. I'm sure our members will be more than happy to provide advice and information.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
