Handcrafted pinball machine made entirely of wood.

The project

 

I made this pinball machine, and it just needs varnish to finish. I designed it myself as I went. I used various materials including plywood, MDF panels and Pine panels, coat hangers, springs, and trunking and conduit.

 

I had 20 Cedar ball points to score, five steel pinballs, one push button for an elevator and one button for steel play balls, two Cedar ball release tunnels, two plungers and four flippers.

It took roughly 30 hours. I did about 30 minutes a day over three months, with a few days off here and there.

Thats a whole lot of effort! Cant belive it only took 30hrs ish :smile: How has it held up to playing? I had a go making something years ago, nothing as nice as yours and mine lasted maybe a week. Did you end up painting it at all?
