This clever custom wine rack makes great use of an awkward space while bringing warmth and contrast to a light-coloured kitchen.
I decided to make some built-in custom cabinetry to fit into the awkward space in our kitchen and make better use of what used to be the fridge space.
It was my first time working with cabinets, so it made for an interesting day.
I used three 295mm x 1800mm inBuilt Natural Wood Melamine Colourboard panels and some suitable timber screws. Handy tip: don't get the shorter screws. I ended up using longer 40mm screws for better stability.
I'm very happy with the fit and the warmth the timber brings. (Excuse the missing handles on the other door panels).
