how to remove this tap handle ?

Hi, how can I remove this tap handle ? Can I do it without turning off the water ?

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.

Anytime you are removing taps, it is worth turning off the water at the mains to ensure there are no potential issues stemming from its removal. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Is there a reason you are removing the tap handle? Are you looking to replace it?

It looks like the capping nut has been removed, so you may be able to just lift the tap handle off. 

If this is not the case, can you upload a photo of the underside of the tap handle and one from the side?

Once I can see the tap from different angles, I'll be able to offer further solutions.
