Hi there. My pop up sink plug needs to be replaced. I have found the Kinetic Pop Up Waste Mechanism… but what is the name of the brass wheel that screws into the end, and the red plastic part in the middle?

I'm sorry but I'm not familiar with this particular model of pop-up waste. Instead of just replacing the Kinetic Pop-Up Waste Mechanism, I suggest replacing the entire set with a Kinetic 40mm Chrome Pop Up Basin Waste. This will save you all the effort of looking for compatible parts. If you feel that replacing the waste is too involved, I suggest engaging the services of a handyperson or plumber to replace the pop-up waste for you.
