I have an old Medallion faux brass shower screen - probably from the 1980s. It's in good condition except that there is some mould in the corners of one of the doors. I've tried mould killer but it doesn't seem to be working - I'm wondering if the doors have two sheets of glass for extra safety, with the mould in between the sheets?
Thanks
That's likely the case @Ronb1949. Two sheets of glass are laminated together, and the mould develops between them in the gap, which is a fraction of a millimetre wide. It is nearly impossible to remove or get a spray in there. There are countless discussions on the internet about mould growing between the laminated panels of shower screens, and I've never seen a good solution. I'd recommend applying a frosted window film on both sides of the lower panels to obscure the mould from view until you have a need to replace the screen altogether.
