Re: bathroom fixings

Hello @lexigerber

You'll need to use an Allen key to remove the grub screw that is holding the towel rail in place. I've placed an image below with a yellow circle indicating where the grub screw is located. If you are planning on recycling this bathroom fixing, make sure to put the grub screw in a safe and secure location. Once the grub screw has been removed you should be able to slide out the bathroom fixing.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Re: bathroom fixings

Hello @lexigerber

I suggest shinning a torch into the hole of the bathroom fitting to see if it is an Allen key type grub screw fitting or a flat head screwdriver type. Please note that the grub screw must be turned anticlockwise to loosen it up. You can also use an extension tube on the Allen key to gain more leverage. If it still refuses to budge, it will be necessary to drill the grub screw out. Please keep in mind that using this step will render the bathroom fitting unusable.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Re: bathroom fixings

Hi @lexigerber

If its not one of the screwdriver heads as @EricL mentioned, its possible that the grub screw has been driven in to far or is cross-threaded. being stainless steel, you will need to use a "Cobalt" drill bit small than the hole opening to drill the grub screws out.
