Hi Everyone, I am wondering if there is a way I can change the colour of the shower floor. This is the only photo I have but it’s one big area not tiles. So maybe a porcelain bottom. Is there a way I can paint it white? Or what product would you recommend. Thanks
Hello @SSM
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your shower tray.
If you have a porcelain shower tray, I suggest using either White Knight 500ml White Tub And Basin Paint or Rust-Oleum 946ml White Gloss Tub And Tile Refinishing Kit. Please note that these products will only work on porcelain surfaces, they are not compatible with acrylic or flexible shower trays.
However, if you have an acrylic tray, I can only suggest engaging the services or a professional resurfacing specialist. They will have the knowledge and equipment to properly resurface your acrylic shower tray. My best advice is to follow the application instructions to the letter.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How to paint a bath (the techniques used are applicable to your shower tray)
Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a paint rated mask.
