Oh no !!! I’ve just noticed there’s paint on the edges of the tiles.
Do I just carefully wipe down with a damp cloth ?
Do I silicone it after to make it neater ?
I’m not sure what to do….. it is just exposed tile edges
Thank you in advance
Hello @mich1972
I suggest using your newly learned skill on how to apply silicone using a masking tape guide.
However, my best advice is to take your time when lining up the tape. I also propose not making the line very big so that it does not overpower the edge of the tile. Your goal is to cover the exposed edge and give it a nice finish.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
Ok Eric, I cleaned them up yesterday, I will try it and definitely use the tape.
Good morning Eric. I cleaned, scraped out old silicone, taped and reapplied !!!!! I did it around the bathtub, the top of the tiles and also the bathroom counter. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed it !!
Great results, @mich1972! I'm sure @EricL will be just as thrilled about them as I am.
You're preparation has really paid off. No doubt you'll be walking around the house with your loaded silicone gun, looking for other gaps and cracks that can be filled.
Love your work, and many thanks for sharing.
