Good Morning Community Friends
The bathroom door looks yucky, I’m going to clean it up but I need to fill a couple of holes from previous hooks in it and also thinking of painting it ? I need advice for this please The house is 1994 and this is the original paintwork. The holes need to be fixed. Can I ask if you were to paint the door, can you match it to the wall colour or is that too much ?
Thank you in advance
Hey @mich1972,
You can absolutely match the wall colour to the door and frame. I suggest using Dulux semi-gloss aquanamel paint in Lexicon Half, the higher gloss will create a nice slight difference to your walls. Alternatively, you could find a colour that matches the darkest shade in your beautiful tile and feature your door. Check out @stelz's feature door in Laundry makeover with Kaboodle cabinetry for inspiration. @Alyce_Pham what are your thoughts?

Thanks @KatieC That’s now added to the list and will stay with the same colour lexicon half
I completely agree @KatieC
I always paint my doors and the door trims in the same colour as the walls, however, always use the Dulux aquanamel range. The aquanamel range gives a nice gloss which I find is much more forgiving when it comes to bumps and knocks which tends to happen a lot to doors and frames. The gloss is also easier to clean which is great on door and frames that tend to get a buildup of handprints and marks.
Good luck @mich1972
