How to fix push-to-open door hinges?
Hi team,
I've installed the kaboodle push to open door hinges that came with my order on my base cabinet but the doors won't stay shut! Any tips?!
I feel I'm missing something important but unsure.
Many thanks!

Re: Push to open door hinges
Hello @Rachel9
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your door hinges.
I would just like to suggest some trouble shooting steps to make sure that the push to open mechanism is working properly. When pushing the locking mechanism with the roller by itself does it click to close. When pushed again does it click to open. If this function works perfectly, does the door hinge push the door onto the locking mechanism. If all of these functions work correctly, I propose removing the door on the right and closing the door on the left. Observe carefully on how the door hook clips onto the push to open mechanism. It is suppose to push the roller all the way down to its locked position.
The left door should be technically locked when pushed all the way in. There should be a small gap that will allow you to push the door down to release the push roller mechanism. It will then push the door forward allowing you to grab it with your finger. If the door does not close properly, it's possible that the spacing for the clips are not correct or the hinges need to be adjusted.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: Push to open mechanisms and catches installation - kaboodle kitchen
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
