Hi and thanks for any advice.
I want to know best way to connect a washing machine hose (1 1/4 inch diam) to the drain pipe which is also 1 1/4 inch. Pictures of both attached. The outer diameter of the pipe (which is threaded) is just too big to expand the rubber hose over it/clamp etc.
I was thinking a coupling or adaptor?
Cheers

Hello @Youryaki
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your washing machine.
I propose looking at the Toro 19mm Tail x 20mm BSP Male Director or the K-Rain 20mm Tap Adaptor with 19mm Barb. The washing machine exit hose is generally 19mm in diameter and fits into a 19mm barbed end. The parts I've suggested might fit into your threaded fitting, but you will need to use a Holman 20mm x 3/4" PVC Faucet Socket for the Toro fitting.
You'll need to do a test fit to make sure that the threaded parts join together. Once you find the correct size, you can then push the exit hose to the barbed fitting. I also suggest using a hose clamp to keep the exit hose from flying off.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
