how do i remove a plug from a bath? it is a push close/push open type that sits flat when closed. It does not unscrew like similar plugs in the sinks. At the moment it does not seal properly and releases water at about 25% of the rate at which the bath fills.
Hello @BCassell
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your bath plug.
One quick way to repair your pop-up waste is to replace the O-ring on the push cap itself. The store carries the Kinetic 40mm Chrome Pop Up Waste Cover. I'm aware your pop-up does not unscrew, so I suggest removing the new O ring and putting it on your old baths pop-up cover.
However, if the O ring you need is bigger, can you please post a photo of your baths pop-up waste. This will give us a better idea of its configuration.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Hi Eric,
Thank you for the reply. After watching various repairs on line I decided that the pop up had to unscrew. Eventually I came upon a method that enable enough purchase on the plug to grtip it strongly enough, and sure enough I was able to unscrew it. I then replaced the O ring and solved my problem.
Thank you for replying. It's good to kmow that help is available.
Great, thanks for letting us know @BCassell. Feel free to post anytime you need a hand with a project around the house and garden.
