How do I stop this washing machine tap from leaking?
How do I stop this washing machine tap from leaking? What tools and parts will I need to buy?
See attached picture for location of leak (or it could possibly be above it).
It only leaks when the tap is on and is pooling water underneath.
Many thanks.

Re: How do I stop this washing machine tap from leaking?
Hello @snembos
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your washing machine tap.
It's probable that the body O rings of the spindle have worn down, I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How to replace a tap washer. In step 5, have a look at picture 5.4 and you'll see the body O rings being replaced. I recommend using FIX-A-TAP 13mm 1/2" Soft Turn Tap Valve Repair Kit or similar to replace the old O rings.
The general steps are to turn the mains water off and depressurising the plumbing in your house by turning on you tap. Once the water stops flowing use a shifter to remove the top of the tap so that you can get access to the spindle body. Once you have access to the O rings remember to use the tap grease that comes with the repair kit once you have the new O rings on.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
Eric
