Hi all,
The trim around the top of the bathroom window appears to have lifted and there is a small gap. This window is above a shower/tub combination and is expected to get used daily. Do I just use sealant (and what type) or is it a more complicated repair?
Thanks,
Mathias
Hello @mathias
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your window trim.
It's probable that the trim has lifted off the wall, if you can see the nail head that is holding the trim in place, it might be possible to drive it back into the wall. But if you can't see the nail head, I suggest using Sika 300ml Almond Ivory SikaSeal Kitchen And Bathroom Silicone Sealant both at the top and bottom of the trim.
Here is a handy step by step guide: How To Silicone Seal A Bath (the techniques used can be applied to your project)
