Hi Brains Trust! Help please, am I correct in assuming this button should just twist off? Or is it a grub screw?
It's very old and hasn't had a service in a long time so are there any tricks to get it off without doing too much damage? Any advice appreciated, thanks!
Well done to both of you! 👍

We have a win on phase two!
Tried all the "pulling" methods I ever heard of but no joy - ended up chucking a rag on it and wrenching it to twist it anticlockwise past the full open point gently gently (with a tonne of WD-40) and eventually it slipped off. Super corroded - don't even want to think about how long it's been since this was done!
Phase 3 looks a little trickier, but patience and perseverance has proven key 😊
