Re: paint to where

Hi @margethereno,

A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.

You're going to want to paint right up to the tile. Grab some painter's tape to mask off the top edge of the tile and then paint right up to it. Check out How To Prep Your Paint Job With Scotch for some guidance.

When the paint has been applied, remove the tape and allow the paint to dry.

Once dry, apply a bead of silicone to the top edge of the tile. This Selleys 300g White Wet Area Waterproof Silicone Sealant is a good option. This bead of silicone is to prevent any water from sitting on top of the tile or getting in behind it. As it can't be painted, it should be applied after the paint. Check out How To Silicone a Gap for some guidance.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob
