Budget laundry and toilet reno suggestions needed
Hi community..just wondering what would you do this area on a budget? The door to the left is the toilet and the laundry is that lovely yellow room. There is a window to the right wall of photo and it is also the first room you walk into when you enter. I love modern farmhouse, but also love modern contemporary. With this space being where you walk into when you come..I want to walk in and sit down, take my work shoes off and hang my lunch bag and then enter the rest of house 🙏 I love black white wood concrete. We did want to move the front door to centralise so you could walk straight in, but that is not an option as we could not be bothered doing that work if I'm to be honest. We just want to work with what we have now I do have a dryer out on our deck to bring in also, it's most likely cheaper to put next to washing machine then to put on top of bench.

Re: Budget laundry and toilet reno suggestions needed
Hi Dave, love your ideas!! We were thinking vj panelling in the laundry on walls somewhere. I was thinking of taking cupboard out that's on opposite side of wall of toilet (I will attach pics) and put a seat and storage there. Definately replacing benchtop. Cupboards was just going to laminate paint or replace.

Re: Budget laundry and toilet reno suggestions needed
Hi Mitch, thanks for your reply. I have actually thought about a wall, but that's where we'd be better off moving the entry door so can walk straight in instead of walking left then right lol we can't remove wall doors swing back on as it's load bearing or structural or something. Unfortunately this house was made of 3 separate parts
love the idea of building in the wash machine and dryer as that would look really nice with the look am wanting.
was thinking of putting bench seat here where pantry is. Then move the pantry into the kitchen which is to the right of wall.

Re: Budget laundry and toilet reno suggestions needed
Hi @projectmumdanni,
I'm sorry. Perhaps I misinterpreted the layout. It looked like a straight shot from the front door. I had envisaged the layout and positioning of the partition wall and cavity slider below.
