Bathroom and toilet makeover

[Dons-Glenno]

After living in our home and renovating it for the last 7 years, this past year we managed to demolish and fully renovate our bathroom and toilet. We have added hints of Messmate Timber, James Hardy VJ Groove Lining, a Timber-look floor tile and concrete look wall tile, accessorising it with Black Bathroom Fittings and Fixtures and topping it all off with the beautiful accent colour - British Paints Preserved Rainforest as our feature wall. We have also replaced the old window with a larger new one taking in our beautiful views.

Step 1

Demolition Time

 

 This was a challenge, this wall was reinforced with wire!!

Step 2

Plastering the ceiling.

We actually had a professional Plasterer put this up with the cornice. We have hung plaster in other rooms, but we wanted this to be done by a professional. Plastering is not our forte'.  We sanded and painted it though.

Thanks for your nice comment. The vanity is made out of messmate, we had it custom built for our space and love its warmth and grain. We have used messmate a few more times through our Reno’s as a feature. Stay tuned
