Thanks Michell for prompt response. Given the brackets on the blinds have holes 100mm apart I would go with 190 x 35 h3. I assume this would work ok

That would be fine, @dlp69. It's just that I'm not overly convinced 25mm thick fascia board would be sufficient. 140 x 35mm would likely also work too ...
