Hello Mitchell.The thick bench top is a porcelain basin so there is no chance of cutting it. It is 40mm thick so I calculated I would need about 50mm ...

This is standard basin tap body. The 32mm threaded section is 35mm long. To fit in new bench top the threaded section needs to be at least 50mm-60mm. ...
