How to diagnose wall and ceiling cracks?

In my brick house,  internal walls and ceiling are getting cracks, they are appearing one after other and expanding. Some cracks are straight but some are random. Floor tiles in those areas also getting lines in middle.

Realy worried what could be the cause

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: wall and ceiling cracks

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @amir129. It's terrific to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about cracks.

The cracks in your walls, ceiling, and floor tiles may indicate underlying structural issues, particularly related to the foundation of the house. When cracks appear and expand over time, especially with floor tiles also showing signs of movement, it could be a sign of foundation movement or settling.

Given the severity of the cracks and the potential for further damage, it’s important to enlist the services of a professional foundation stabilisation expert or structural engineer. They will be able to assess the condition of your foundation and identify whether the cracks are due to natural settling, moisture issues, or more serious foundation problems. In some cases, these issues may be addressed through foundation repair or stabilisation processes.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
