security door
Hi guys just wanting some help I have an existing security door that’s needs new wire but I don’t want to put it on with the rubber strip I want to make a frame and screw it on the door like with a heavier fly wire

Many thanks for your question, I'd be glad to assist. The easiest way I can advise to securely attach the screen is to sandwich the new heavier fly wire between the door frame and Metal Mate 10 x 3mm 3m Aluminium Flat Bar. You could screw the frame in place or use a Trojan 2 Way Rivet Gun set to get a very nice finish. This would fix the wire securely and would prevent it from being pulled out un-like the rubber strip method.
If you wished to build a full frame that could be achieved using aluminium tubing. It would be used in the same fashion to sandwich the wire to the door.
