How to build a dining table using Specrite panel?
Hi I want to make a dining table from the specrite 2400x900x33 panel.
My plan would be to cut the panel to 1800mm, attach legs from Bunnings.
Is this something suitable for a novice and would it work?
I’ve been looking for a dining table for months and came across the panels looking at another project (used the panel to top off an ikea cabinet). This would be perfect.
thanks

Re: dining table from specrite panel
Hello @sherryl71
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your Specrite panel.
Using the Specrite 2400 x 900 x 33mm Timber Multi Use Pine Panel for a dinner table is perfect. Its size is very similar to large dinner tables and can be stained or painted to your desired finish. I suggest having a quick look at this discussion - Home office desk with hardwood timber panel by @Simon. In the discussion you'll see various panels that have been made into tables,
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
