creating storage ideas for 1 bedroom apartment

I have moved into a 1 bedroom place, it's a barn type place, my half is 2 biggish rooms, bedroom has bathroom off it.

Other room has kitchen dinning area all in one, not many cupboards etc in kitchen small space.

And dining/living area is smallish as well, which has a small laundry off it.  My problem is there's no storage to put things, and I wanted some ideas to helping my situation. I've always found other people have some great ideas. So it would be for the

Kitchen

Dining/living room

I'm ok for bathroom and bedroom.

Maybe laundry.

Does any one have any ideas, enjoy d.i.y or store brought

Re: creating storage ideas for 1 bedroom apartment

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @di4. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about creating storage.

In addition to @Jewelleryrescue’s suggestion about Bunnings offering modular furniture, could you let us know whether your apartment is a rental, as that might limit your options for fixed storage solutions? If it is a rental, you may want to focus on free-standing or non-permanent storage options.

It might be worth taking a trip to a Bunnings store to browse the aisles and see what might suit your space and style. Seeing storage options in person could help you get a better sense of what will fit your needs. For the kitchen and dining/living areas, consider vertical storage, such as tall shelves or over-the-door organisers, to make the most of the limited space. Adjustable shelving units or stackable storage bins could also help maximise space in smaller areas.

Let us know if you have any preferences or limitations, and we can come up with more tailored ideas.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
