Hello, a new member of this wonderful DIY community 😊. I am about to start a DIY project of laying hybrid floor planks on the tiles. A quick question around the transition cover trim when it comes it corners like the one in the photo next to the glass door, what would be the right fit there?
Any tips/recommendations please 🙏
thanks
J
Hello @jaideeps_singh
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about hybrid flooring.
When you have a spot where the flooring needs to be as close as possible to the wall in this case the sliding door frame, installers use a perimeter end trim. The trim is often glued to the floor which allows the hybrid flooring to move inside the trim while covering the gap.
Here is a handy step-by-step guide: How to lay laminate flooring.
I also suggest having a look at this discussion - Transition from tile to hybrid floor by @barydos.
