Repurposed Christmas tree Part 2 - Mini tree

This year my Christmas Tree started to collapse, despite my efforts I was not able to keep it together until Christmas day so I decided I would repurpose it.

You don't need to have a single creative bone in your body to do this trust me.

As it was a 6ft Tree make sure you check out the other parts/posts.

Materials

The top of the tree

A decorative pot

Styrofoam

Some pebbles or a small rock as weight (if needed)

Fairy lights and decorations (optional)

Tools

Ryobi utility knife

Steps

Step 1

Measure and cut circles in Styrofoam the same size as the pot. I used the pot as a template to indent the Styrofoam then used the Ryobi utility knife to cut the circles out. (cut as many as you need I used two)

Step 2

Pierce a hole in the centre with the rod from the top of the tree.

Step 3

Place them in the pot and stick the top of the tree in the hole. Add weight if required.

@Herrenovacation

 Ok, you have convinced me. I am going home and at the very least put some Christmas lights on my trees!

I really think the greenery factor makes a difference to the room, and again, thats a nice reuse of the tree.
