Removing sticker glue from walls

How can i remove all sticker glue from the walls and ceilings before painting?

Eucalyptus oil will also remove gums and glues..Great for removing that gum from stick-on labels that detergents won't remove..

From my experience I would suggest that regardless of whichever product you use to remove the sticky residue, you also wash the walls down well with a mixture of sugar soap in warm water. Otherwise the residue of some of these miracle products may leave their own residue which can show through your fresh coat of paint. I speak from experience.
