Love the finish on these timber stairs

that looks beautiful!!!!! What timber is it? 

Would you please mind sharing how much it had cost? I am building a 2 storey and just getting the stair case, no carpet or timber is being done by the builder. My preference is to use a darker color as it will be a constrat to the light colour tile and laminate. How much did this one cost with the material and labor?
