Looking to paint skirting
Hello all,
Could you pls suggest the paint, brush, type i need to use for skirting?
Do i need to sand the skirting before painting as well?
So far i think i need all this, is this correct?
*Dust sheet
*water based paint
*sand paper
*Masking tape
*paint brush

Hi @approachmhn,
It looks like you've covered most of the colour. I'd suggest you are likely right to apply your topcoats now. The Precision primers job is to adhere to hard to paint surfaces. It's not a stain blocker like the Zinsser product.
For the drips and brush marks, you need to lay off your paint. Paint a section and then come back and go over it again, all in one direction with your brush at a 25-degree angle to the surface. If you are getting many drips and runs, you're likely applying too much paint. Don't try and achieve coverage with one coat. I know it's tempting, even I do it. You want to get one coat on and wait for it to dry. Give it a light sand in the rough areas, and then apply your second coat.
