Not easy to take a picture. The rubber has receeded into the aluminium leaving a gap in the window glass. Is this a DIY fix or a glaziers job? Thanks.
Hello @Sozza
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about the rubber seal in your window.
When your windows rubber seal begins to shift on its own, it's often an indicator that it is either starting to perish or the seal is shrinking due to UV and weather exposure. In this particular instance, I suggest engaging the services of a glazier as they will have the tools and materials to replace your window seal. I don't recommend doing this as a D.I.Y project as working with glass is quite dangerous and the seals used for aluminium windows are special and not easily obtained.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
